This week I went over to Signature Place in downtown St Petersburg to look at their new models. It would be nice to go up in the tower, both to see the views and to see the unique configurations of the tower condos - but, alas, it's too early to be allowed to do that.
The two models are in their west building. Though they don't give you the feel that the tower condos will have, you can see the quality of construction, the materials and the finishes. The vignettes in the previous sales centers gave a very good idea of the kitchens and baths. The models show that the condos live larger than their square footage.
Two pleasant surprises for me were the views from the condos: the model on the east side had views of Tampa Bay on both sides of the narrow tower; the view on the west side, though facing a parking garage, was much more pleasant than I'd expect since the McNulty Lofts garage is brick, adding interest. If would be really nice if the "window boxes" had plants and greenery.
Signature Place expects to be finished by the end of March 2009, at which time they will start their closings and move-ins.

Jeff - I sold several pre-construction units in Signature Place. The developer and sales staff there are great to deal with.
