It's currently a balmy 73 degrees in downtown St Petersburg, Florida, with clear blue skies. It's perfect weather to have the doors open and feel the pleasant breeze.
I'm sitting here at my laptop in the reception area of our new office, watching people walk by in shorts. The dog walkers were by earlier, now it's people coming for lunch - and a beautiful day to sit outside for that.
This is the view out the window of our new office, ALVA International, at 238 Beach Drive NE in downtown St Petersburg. It's the Museum of Fine Arts, a flourishing museum in Straub Park, with its new Hazel Hough wing, and a view of the Vinoy Basin and Tampa Bay.
It's a wonderful day to be in downtown St Petersburg, Florida.

Wow what a great view you have. I know it will change with the flags out front. I know you will enjoy the changes to come. Hopefully your location will bring traffic from the Museum.
Katerina - the previous tenants (an optical shop) were successful, and left for a larger location. It's also good for prosperity when the previous owners/tenants were successful.
Susan - we're in a wonderful location for both new and current clients to stop in. We're surrounded by inviting restaurants, shops, galleries and museums, inviting parks that have art shows and music festivals, desirable places to walk and stroll, and the waterfront just across the park.
Sharon: Merry Christmas! I hope you have a great 2009. What a wonderful view you have, and I hope your new office brings you great business exposure too.

Lynda - it's nice to be in a quiet office, especially in a location like this. We plan to buy some wicker chairs and cushions to sit outside by the sidewalk.

Colleen - I hope you do! I travel sometimes to teach the CLHMS course, to take clients to Costa Rica, and to attend classes and conferences, but when I'm out of town, part of my team is always there! Be sure to allow time to visit the Salvador Dali Museum as well - it's world class, too.

Sharon, congrat's on the new office. I'm very familiar with it's location, near the waterfront. It's located in a wonderful area of St. Petersburg, near great places to eat outdoors in our fantastic weather, and people watch. Good Luck to you in 2009.
