Whether you celebrate Christmas or another holiday or none at all - I send you the best of Christmas wishes.
Last night we shared Christmas Eve with good friends, as we do every year - friends gathered from the US, Norway, Scotland and Germany. It's all about good friends, good food, good conversation - some laughter and games.
Later this morning part of our family will gather - the local ones, so we'll have 3 generations here. Sadly the older generation has passed on, and now my husband and I are the "old ones". It's about tradition and caring. We've simplified the traditions over the years, and Florida casualness has superceded New England formality. We enjoy gathering in shorts and later walking along the beach.
We sympathize with all of you who may be stranded in an airport, or suffering without power. Wherever you are, make it Christmas.

Sharon,
Wishing you and your family a Happy Holidays.
Sharon - Merry Christmas to you and yours. We share a common thread with so many people in the manner in which we celebrate the holidays. Gatherings with family and friends are so very special this time of years and yes, we are now the "older" ones at these gatherings. We carry on the traditions that our parents held all those years when we were much younger. Best wishes to all!
Sharon to you and your family Merry Christmas. This is a Great Day.
Sharon, Merry Christmas to you and your family. Have a great day.

Merry Christmas Sharon. I'm not travelling this year so life is good! Peaceful and quiet this morning.
Thanks, Neal.
Jon - many of the small things change over the years, but the basic things are the traditions that we all count on.
