Even the Stores are Going Green
Have you noticed that almost every day there's a store announcing its green plan? Earlier this week Home Depot announced it's going to be Green Tagging products so you'll know what's green, how and why. WalMart is advertising their lower prices while advertising products - for example, the fluorescent bulbs that WalMart says they're pricing so that they'll be used in your house and not stuck on their shelves. With so many national chains going green, what are the small independents going to do to keep pace? Will the manufacturers provide tags and information for them?

Hi Sharon, here in Florida as you may know, our local grocery chain Publix is going green to the point of producing their own brand of recycled paper products, vegetarian meat analogs, the have an organic fresh food section and a health food section in the stores, and they are carrying Seventh Heaven laundry detergent. They have my shopping dollars!
Terry Haugen - STAGE it RIGHT!
John - I agree with you. I think right at the manufacturer is the place to provide the information.
Terry - Publix green recycling hasn't come to this part of the state yet. They're still working on fresh and health foods.
Gary - yes, it's interesting that these national chains are deciding these things just before Earth Day.
janeAnne - agreed. when a term becomes too popular it loses definition.
Todd - you're cute!
