Go RAYS - first World Series game tonight in St Petersburg Florida

RAYS fever is everywhereSt Petersburg is alive with RAYS fever and fervor. It's not only the streets close to Tropicana Field that have banners celebrating the Rays participation in the 2008 World Series.

After beating the Red Sox to gain entry into the Series, this area has come alive with excitement, whether you're a sports fan or not.

Some ticket holders wouldn't miss the game at Tropicana for anything - others have sold their tickets as high prices and plan to watch it on tv, usually gathering with friends. The local restaurants and clubs are all having Series Watching Parties.

One of our attorney friends is holding a pre-game Tailgate Party at his office, within walking distance of the game.

Not a bad sports year for the Tampa Bay area - the World Series in St Petersburg this month and the Super Bowl in Tampa in January.

Hi Sharon, You must be all excited as the game nears it beginning. With all the many visiting, I would guess that there is always a good chance that people will want to move there, being the wonderful city it is. Hope you pick up some new Buyer clients from the new level of excitement that is in the air.

GO RAYS!

Thanks, William, for your wishes and for finding and including the logo. I'll consider you here with me while I watch the game tonight.

Well, it must be exciting there, Sharon. And although I would have preferred the Sox, being from Boston, the Rays are a great team and I hope they win! Go Rays.

Sharon, I'm so proud the Rays made it. Cubbie fans have the longest wait and our Texas Rangers have STILL never made it.

Morning Sharon,

How proud and excited we are here in the Bay area. My two oldest grandchildren, 8 & 10 are beside themselves. That in itself makes the Ray's number one in our book.

GO RAYS! Sharon, living here makes having the World Series better than ever, not to mention our young RAYS team, who like the Atlanta Braves several years ago should make several appearances to the Series over the next few years, something I'm looking forward too. No matter what happens during the next few games, the RAYS are winners. GO RAYS!

Jeff - by 5:15 yesterday afternoon when I drove past Tropicana Field the parking lot was already overflowing. It was pretty exciting to see the opening shots on tv and realize that was OUR field and OUR ballteam.

Gary - it's nice when the underdog wins - the players are not only mostly young, most of them are among the lowest paid players in the league.

Hal - glad your grandchildren are excited.

Tony - yes, we're proud of them no matter what the outcome is. It's pretty significant just to play in the World Series.
