Kristal Kraft posted a solution to stress relief. Hers is one you can do online - our team needs one that's more physical as well as mental:
Each of us keeps some stress reliever "toys" in our desk drawer -
- the house you can squeeze,
- the beanbag you can squish -
the kinds of things you can usually get free at trade shows. Our key, though, is not to just squeeze or squish them ...
When one of us gets out of line, we throw one at them. If one of us is REALLY bad, the other three throw simultaneously from different directions.
We're a family team, so harassment charges are out.

Sharon, I'd like a few houses that I could squeeze or throw!!
Sharon, I know an agent I could throw!
I really loved Kristal's stress release!
Brian - I'll see what I can find at this year's NAR!
Gee, Patricia - actually throwing an agent would be multi-tasking - you'd get your physical fitness and strength training while relieving stress - and perhaps solving a problem as well!
Hi Sharon, A fun post. Just at Christmas time, I prepared a huge bag of all my collections of things I have collected at our trade shows for the last 10 years. It even had a couple watches, teddy bears, A limited edition of a stuffed horse from Wells Fargo. Some pretty clever and fun things and I prepared these for the kids in the neighborhood. Needless to say, I was more than I hit and it cleared things out. I kept them safe and in original condition. I will bet all told, it weighed over 50 lbs of some of the coolest things, some even tempted me to keep some of them. I didn't. The object was to allow others to enjoy and the kids get the biggest bang for the buck, as they say. There was at least 6 Stress Houses. ( the White ones with the grey roofs) A zillion balls, some electronic, a silver yo-yo from ?? ( won that one). Anyway, the kids are enjoying it all. I had been saving all the many things for a show I was going to do of all the stuff that is given or won in drawings over a 10 year period of NAR and CAR trade shows. Now the idea is dumb, so I gave it all away.
PS, would you be kind enough to stop by most recent blog and read what I said about you. It is about the Enlargers here on Activerain. You being a very important one to me.
William - I'll go over there right now. What a great idea to share all those things! We could also bring them back each year and add them to an office toybox, now that you mention it. Teddy bears can mean a lot to grownups as well.
It sounds like you folks know how to lighten it up when it gets a little stressful.
Randy - you have to be able to laugh at yourself. We actually include "having fun" in our mission statement.
Sharon, a nice Elimis spa massage usually relieves some stress. Krystal's solution in manic mode does well in a pinch. Thanks!
Kevin - thanks for the suggestion. When we have time for scheduling, the spa works. When you need something more immediate ....
