Have I told you lately that I love my Kindle? Probably not in the last week or so. My Christmas Kindle goes with me everywhere. I told you why.
Yet another trip - and several of pounds of books replaced by my 10 oz Kindle with dozens of books. I actually weighed my luggage with pounds to spare.
After showing this to James Nellis in DC, he has ordered one. He e-mailed me to ask if he should buy any accessories, such as a light.
Well, I didn't buy any accessories. Yes, you need a light to read it (it's not a computer screen, fortunately) but I usually have access to light, just as I would for a book. Other than that, no need for another cover, a spare battery or a charger. What comes in the $399 package is all you need.
So - order and enjoy.

Sharon, you are always staying on top of current technology. I looked at it on Amazon.com. It looks kool. I hope you always remember to take it every where you go.
Susan - no question, it's always in my pocketbook (a big one, of course). Then I never mind having to wait, because I can read.

I'm kind of a techno geek and I WANT to adopt this technology but as I look at my bookshelf filled with books I have yet to read I am not sure I NEED to. None the less, every time I read a glowing review about the product it plants another seed in my mind. I will probably end up giving in to my wants sooner rather than later.
