January 2007 statistics have been released by the Pinellas Realtor Organization. Although the Simms Team saw an upturn in showing activity, offers and contracts this month, overall statistics show an opposite trend. January absorption rates have dropped below 2006 levels, with a 4.2% absorption rate for single family homes and a 2.8% absorption rate for condos and townhomes.
