Grumixieamero or Ume

Do you remember when we used to have fruits as the only verification options in the boxes before we posted? Some would complain because there were only fruits. Others would complain because they found a fruit they didn't know existed.

Time passed, and the fill-ins expanded beyond fruits.

I don't mind LONG passwords or fill-ins, as long as they make sense, which makes them easy to type. It could be

                                    thiswilltakeyoualongtimetofillin

and I'd be OK. But

                                       gruximiero

?   I put in an X instead of a Z but had clicked before I fully realized the mistake.

Fortunately, we don't have to retype our entry or comment, we get a second change. I'd like to think that the system understood my dismay and as a reward, gave me a very easy one to type in

                                          ume

Are you ok with all the choices, or do you have your own preferences?

Comments

If I had to retype my comments I would be so pissed, but luckily my computer saves all the things I type so I start typing and the word just comes up. It's rare come across a word that I havent already had at least 1 time.

I never could figure out why the explosion in graphics. the only reason is to stop internet spiders. Its not a security thing.

The choices are fine with me. I like that they are keeping the word interesting.

I got one today called Farkleberry. I've had a few various names that were really odd.  I should google 'em.

This one is appleberry.  Not so bad.  I have had a few that were beyond silly.

Heather - fortunately Active Rain gives us a second chance and doesn't wipe out our comments or blog.

David - I think it's to stop spam. There are good spiders (search engines) and bad spiders (spam).

Christina - I agree. Sometimes I actually laugh out loud over a word.

Chris - I've had farkleberry a few times.

Randy - this one's ease: lemon.  Guess it's a reminder that I should make lemonade or pies.

Sourberry for me this time... Sharon, your post had me laughing! I've had some wild ones this past week. Like Chris above, I always think I should google these words, but I don't!

Debbie - I'm with you. One thing about reading on the computer rather than  in a book it that it's so much easier to look up words we don't know.
