Blogging's as easy as e-mail

Those who haven't yet begun blogging, even if they do see the benefits of it, often fear actually doing it. They will give the excuse that they aren't a writer.

Do you send e-mails? Then you can blog.

You fill in a title, just as you'd fill in the subject of an e-mail.

Then you put the cursor  in the box and start typing. In one case it's a blog post, in the other it's an e-mail.

Fill in tags, or topics that you've covered.

Hit sent, post or enter, and it's done.

Sharon, Great post. And if one blogging thinks in hindsight they've come off flat or a tad nonsensical, just keep bloggin and cover it up. Cheers to you. Don't be afraid to let those fingers fly people!

Sharon - Not only should they think of it in those terms but once they get started then they should be consistent.

Matt - yes, the more posts you've posted, the less significant any one is.  We all show improvement.

Jennifer - consistent posting gets better search engine placement.

Sharon-  You are very right.  I always measure achievement by what you put into it.

That about covers it Sharon. I wish I knew it was that easy years ago. I would have started sooner.

Sharon, I really never thought of it that way but you are absolutely correct.  I will admit I was a little overwhelmed at first but it is simple as 1-2-3 now.  I'm glad I started blogging and now you have to tear me away from it.

You and Bruce Haitt  (Luxury Realty Group, Las Vegas) did such a nice job on the Blogging Session at Leaders in Luxury. I really appreciate you always being so generous with your knowledge and expertise. Thank you-

Gary - as so much in life!

Joe - at least you've started now, instead of a year from now.

Kimberly - it is easy to become addicted.

Maribeth - thank you so much. I'm glad you were there and that we got a chance to talk a little - I look forward to your phone call.

Heather - I enjoyed meeting you as well. Hopefully we'll all raise the bar a bit higher in blogging.

Sharon, I taught a blog class at my office on tuesday.  They had more excuses than a drug addict for why they can't blog.  I don't get it.

Chris - that doesn't surprise me. I guess we should be glad that we have the advantage if a nonlevel playing field.
