30 or so Cyberprofessionals are here in New Orleans for our semi-annual meeting. A highlight of this meeting is our 15 Minutes of Fame. Each of us has 15 minutes to present to the group our latest new ideas, new Cyber tools, out of the box marketing ideas, new niches, etc. ActiveRain has been a big topic this year, in the various Fame presentations as well as in group discussions and one on one chats. During our talks, Les Sulgrove is manning a computer so the sites we talk about and slides we've prepared are shown up on the big screen. My presentation became interactive as the group called out, click on Florida, click on Michigan, and Les pulled up blogs we talked about. Photos and blogs are being posted while the show goes on. Both Teri and I passed out the ActiveRain business cards that Linda designed, which were printed and sent out so quickly. Some Cyberprofessionals had joined but not blogged, and others hadn't yet joined. I think all the benefits we talked about will stimulate more involvement.
