St Petersburg's Beach Drive
is the best place to be reads the headline in this morning's St Pete Times. Their article talks about some of the history of Beach Drive and how it's become a very desirable place to live, work and play.
We saw this in 2008 when an optical shop moved out along Beach Drive - before there was even a sign saying the space was available, we grabbed it - and opened our new boutique real estate company, ALVA International. Beach Drive has become real estate row, in addition to the many restaurants, shops & museums and of course the parks and waterfront. We love being right in the middle of all that.
Dog walkers, joggers, bicycles and horse-drawn carriages - you never know what's coming next along Beach Drive. Several places to have your morning coffee, and sidewalk cafes offer lunch and dinner as well.

Sharon - I'll be sure to pop in when I am down that way again!
Sharon, what a classy looking window for your office there. I really like how the lettering is placed high so as not to obstruct your perfect views. I can't believe two years have passed!
Sharon....great to see a picture of the office. I think I kinda remember you posting about this when it happened...surprised I can remember that!
We USE to be in a rather high visiblity location, but our owner moved us into a commerical office building. It's part of a condo complex, but now we sit up off the street, and the windows are hidden behind the trees. We can't have an Agent Duty Sign anymore, and hence no one signs up for office coverage.
I know our other space was expensive, but I think they left a golden opportuntity behind and should of looked at the options before the left Peachtree Street.
Do you get good foot traffic with your location? I bet you do!
So how are things in my former hometown? I lived at 1650 Beach Drive, in that gorgeous 1929 stately home, during the 1980s. It was my most favorite home--still think about it now and then.
Sharon, You were brilliant to see the future of Real Estate in 2008. Here's to many more years of well deserved success
Margaret
What a wonderful location. Much luck to you. It looks like the perfect place to live, work, play and enjoy life.
Wendy - would be great to see you.
Thanks, Kevin. What you don't see is the lettering below the sight line that welcomes visitors in the several languages that we speak.
Thom - I think location is important, obviously. The nice thing is that we not only get walk-in prospects, but our clients often stop in since they're walking by. It's a great way to stay in touch.
Norma - oh, how things have changed since the 80s in downtown St Pete. You'd love it here now!
Thanks, Margaret.
Joan, thanks. Yes it is the perfect place!
