"Naked Conversations" by Robert Scoble and Shel Israel is a very interesting book on blogging.
It's not a how-to book, at least not in the sense of giving you instructions 1-2-3 or a-b-c. He does talk about the significance of blogging, what it can do, what it reflects on the bloggers and their companies.
Some have been wonderfully good - others have been nefariously bad. Some of the book talks about corporate differences - Microsoft vs Google, for example.
Much of the book, though, is about how blogging brings connections, keeps you in touch with the world, evokes passion. Scoble even brings in the effects of national cultures on blogging.
For those looking for practical tips, Scoble does give 11 Tips for Effective Blogging ... and he tells you how to avoid getting "dooced".
This was my latest "treadmill book" and it had to be good because some days I kept walking more than my 30 minutes just because I was engrossed in the content.

Sharon,
Thanks for this info - I will look for a copy of this....
Lisa and Julie - let me know what you think.
Sherry - libraries are good, also used book stores. I found a great (and recent) business book recently at a garage sale in Palo Alto!
Sounds like a good read, Sharon. It's been added to my list - hopefully I can borrow it or get it at the library. Thanks.
Jeff
Jeff - if you're like me, your list is longer than your available time.
Missy - that's a great time organizer when you can check off two things at once.
Gary - Reading makes the treadmill less of a chore for me. I get up at 5 am and head off to the gym - I'm not awake enough at that hour to make excuses.
Sharon,
This looks like a book that I would like to read. Thank you and I can use the extra time on the treadmill too.
Sheron - congratulations on your multitasking!
William - the second half talks about what to do right and what not to do wrong.
