Signature Place Condo Auction Market Update 3-22-10 St Petersburg Florida

Signature Place condosFollowing up on the Signature Place auction 2 weeks ago, including the condos sold at the auction, there are now 92 condo units at Signature Place that are under contract or already sold during the last 2 weeks. In addition to 102 units sold before the closing, that's 194 units out of 244 or 79.5%. I'd say that the Signature Place condo auction was a successful auction!

The remaining units are only being shown by appointment and appointments are filled up days in advance.

Sharon - it's been interesting to see how aucitons are becoming more commonplace AND successful in different parts of the country. I would say that is a pretty good track record.

Sharon, I have followed you posts about this auction and it's encouraging to see that the sales are helping to reduce inventory! Good to see some success in your area!

Sharon, I guess I'll have to eat some words.  That appears to have been an excellent result.  I hope your team was able to participate and profit also.  Thanks!

Thanks for the comments Jeff, Russell and Kevin.  I really liked how this company handled the auction. The results have been very good - and yes, our team has represented buyers both during and after the auction.

Sharon, what did you think about the prices? More than you expected or less? How much of a discount did they represent compared to the planned list prices from a few years back?  thx
