Tampa International Airport has been computer friendly for years, offering free wireless internet access.
Southwest Airlines improved on the balancing act of using your laptop with their "computer bars" where you could recharge and share a narrow flat surface.
What a pleasant surprise when we arrived at the Southwest Terminal at Tampa International Airlines to find both in the general lobby and at our gate these computer stations with 2 plugs for charging and space to spread out with paperwork, beverage, etc.
It's been a very pleasant wait at the gate with these comfortable computer stations. Thank you Southwest and TIA!
Tami and I are en route to Phoenix to Bloodhound Unchained to learn more about search engine optimization, social networking and improving our blogs and websites.

Can't wait to read your report when you get back (or before)!
Hi Sharon, just checking in to see how your trip to Bloodhound Unchained is going. Tami looks ravishing as always and even when working at an airport?!?!! I really am looking forward to what you learn at this very intense and information filled conference!
Kathy - probably AFTER with a 6 am to midnight schedule - though I have to admit I played hookey last night - couldn't stay up til midnight after starting out at 4 am Florida time, which was 1 am Phoenix time.
Russell - I'll pass along your compliment. She was not pleased with being photographed at 6 AM. She's not a natural Early Bird.
Sharon, what a great idea! Southwest has always been an innovator.
Pat - when people are occupied the time goes faster, so I'm sure Southwest is getting many happier fliers with this.
