A metal working company moved into this old building with an ugly, nondescript door. Hardly a good front for their company.
So - they covered the old door with this artistic one. Now that shows what the company could do for you.
Doesn't that let your imagination start to soar about your entry door, or a gate at the end of your drive?
You see the closed work at the bottom, the elaborate open scrollwork above.
Yes, that invites me in to see what's inside.
Do you know where in downtown St Petersburg this is?

That sure is an interesting door. Very large, but unique.
Sharon -fascinating. It sends a powerful message which, no doubt, the owners realize. Now why don't some homeowner's take a similar approach?
Jeff
Hi Sharon, I really do like the design here but it seems like they might want to fix what is showing through it and spoiling a bit of the great design. But it does look impressive as a gate door.
I'll take a guess...is it the doors to the church?
Donna - makes you think creatively.
Jeff - this homeowner took a creative door approach.
William - I totally agree. The old, ugly door really detracts from the new one. Perhaps a nice thin metal grating behind the new door would hide the lines of the old one.
Neal - nope. Now a metal workshop, formerly a Piano Exchange.
Sharon~
I am so glad you are out and about in St. Pete...I have had coffee at a couple of hotels this week...enjoyed the birds...and now an incredible door!! THANKs!@!!!!
